cat back exhaust

I have a stock '01 mountaineer and I want to but a cat back exhaust kit just dual in single out and I was wondering which one would be best? I dont want it to be too loud just have a nice sound since i need a new muffler anyways.

I like my gibson on mine. Its not too loud just right. It was a easy install with no problems except for them dang exhaust hangers. Check ebay for a good deal. I got mine for 180 shipped brand new.

I have the 5.0 Explorer with a Flowmaster cat back here's what it sounds like

The white smoke is carbon being cleaned out don't worry about that lol.

Yeah dual in single out. Pretty darn easy to install too. But when all that was after the cat's was a muffler I guess that makes it really easy lol.

Mine sounds like that without any mods. Nice low rumble. I have a leak somewhere which I'll be checking out soon. AS for now, I get challenged at traffic lights from people in Vettes..lol.

thanx guys... thats what i want mine to sound like i figured since ill need a new muffler soon anyways might as well get one i want. I figure down the road when the cats go I ll jus put two high flow cats on.
