Can anyone recommend a high quality company that does ceramic coating on stainless steel headers? I located Jet-Hot, but though there might be others...Thanks for your help..Mike

why not get headers that are already coated?

Alec- I checked and FMS headers are no longer available ceramic coated. Only stainless steel, which I purchased.

Okay, I'll bite, why would you need to coat a stainless steel header? Better flow? Heat retention? Looks good?

Thanks!

all of the above

Yep, like Alec says, all of the above. But you know, the stock headers on our 5.0Ls are not coated and I don't know if they are stainless or not. They do have a foil shield on them. Don't know if that helps much with heat or not. Just thought someone on our forum might have had theirs coated. Mike
