Differential work

My front axel siezed up, so I'm swapping out the axel from my parts ranger.
it's gonna be nasty and I know it will be, whats the best way to clean them all the way out of nasty crap.

I'm switching to Royale Purple Synthetic Lube front AND back

at some point it will be Royale purple all throught my truck.

Please tell me what the best way is.

Yea I'd say......my carrier bearng is gone.

luckilly I have a spare lol.

Can anyone tell me what I am dealing with when it comes to the actual removal of the axel?
