I third or fouth the AIC. The symptom you desicribed matches the AIC symptom we got right after we bought our X.
Our X would stall out if we took our foot off the gas. It would do this until the truck was warmed up. This meant either I hold my foot on the gas for 5 minutes, or try to start it 10+ times.. then all was fine..
You should also noticed that when your turn on your A/C that the RPMS don't stay the same.. the most likely drop. That is another indication the AIC is bad.
The AIC is <$100 for the part, has 1 electrical connector and two 8mm or 10mm bolts holding it on. It is easy to change.
