Door chime module/GEM

I have the ever so popular "door ajar" problem. I pulled out the top harness to the gem module and have stopped the beeping. Now, does anyone know which wire i need to cut in order to disable the chiming so that i can put the harness back in?

according to my 96 wiring, and i assume you want all the doors, you need to cut 5 wires (4 doors and tail gate).... right..??? I can't see how you can just "kill" the chime itself as it appears to be part of the GEM (at least that what the schematic indicates.

The wires are LFD -> V/BK (v could be Y... hard to read), RFD ->GY/R, RRD -> PK/LB, LRD -> LG/Y, and tail gate W/P

Or I have a brand new GEM from a '95 you can buy from me and put in

I only have the 2 door sport. I just want a quick fix and dont feel like fixing whichever door it is. paid almost nothing for the truck and dont know how much longer im going to hang on to it.
