door ajar chime

hey, i searched for a while but couldnt find anything on an easy way to stop it from making the door ajar chime. gets very annoying when im doing anything when the key on and door open, cut a wire? pull a fuse? anything easy like that lol? thanks

Use a flathead screwdriver to flip the latch on the driver's side door that closes when you normally close the door. It's about middle-ways down the door. When the door closes, this latch closes around the U-bracket that's bolted to the body door opening. Once that latch is flipped, you can leave the door open to your heart's content w/no annoying chime. Just be sure to flip it back when you're done.
