Enabling Beltminder for 2002 explorer.

Call me crazy but I like this feature in my chevy S10 and buick park avenue that chimes when you're not wearing your seatbelt. Supposedly there is a way to turn it back on (the previous owner disabled it I guess) but it says to do it the way that you turn it off, and I can't figure out how because the seatbelt light doesn't come on.

Can anyone help? Is there like some way to do a factory reset?

Doesn't work. No light comes on to confirm anything because it's disabled. Is there like a different way to reset it?

Not sure if this will help. I tried to get this to work a long time ago but same as you I had no light in the dash. About 6 months ago I changed out the driver side seatbelt, and it started working. Maybe try unpluging the connectors under the seats and re pluging them in.

I dont know if it was the diffrent belt, or maybe just the un plug then plug in that worked.
