Endlessly Indexing

I have had my X for a few days and have noticed that the MFT continues to index the Ipod.

My previous 2010 Ford with Sync took about 15 minutes to index the same Ipod.

Any thoughts. The vehicle has 2.8 as well.

I had this issue with my usb stick. While it was "indexing and building media commands" I unplugged it and plugged it back in a few times and it went away.
