EZ Locker and Lock Right

EZ Locker

Does anyone know if you can buy different side gears other than the ones you orginially purchase if you change axle splines?

For example: I buy a locker for my ford 9" with 28 spline axles now and next year I upgrade to 31 spline axles. Can I buy new side gears at that time for 31 spline axles? Thanks

I seriously doubt it. It wouldn't be profitable for the manufacturer, therefore I doubt they'd do it.

I dunno about the EZlocker but the powertrax eliminates the spider gears. if you buy a lockright for 28 spline axles shafts you'll have to buy a new locker if you upgrade to 31 spline shafts.

this is what got me thinking about this topic. I think i will contact the manufacturer and see what they say.
