Front Mount Hitch Receiver

I have contacted all of the hitch manufacturers and major distributors; front receivers are no longer available for my 98 XLT. I was wondering if a front mount receiver from a 1999 or 2000 Explorer would fit on my ’98 with a little modification. Has anyone tried this? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!!

Check out bageco.com. I thought I saw one for the 2nd gen Ex.

Strange. Looks like Drawtite needs to update their web site. They show this picture, but don't offer the hitch shown.
