Gas Smell

I'm getting a strong gas smell from underneath the hood of my truck on the drivers side only and i know its not the fuel filter because i just checked that. does anybody have any idea what the problem may be. thnks

Purge valve, Search on it.

if you have to drive the vehicle before you get that gas smell taken care of get a fire extinguisher...

as jason said the purge valve or possibly the charcoal canistar (black box with the knobs on top and 2 hoses that come off of it. good luck
