Hi all, I have recently bought a 1998 Explorer from Manitoba due to wiping out my 97 Aerostar on icy roads on Trans Canada Highway 1. Purchased 4x4 same day and drove onward to Southern Ontario. Hoping to gather some info on the 4x4 system from fellow forum members. Thanks for allowing me to join.=

Welcome to this forum! You could get an E-4WD Aerostar. It doesn't have low gear 4 X 4 like the Explorer but it has electronic 4WD.
