Help!!. Is this a blend door issue or something else?!!

2004 explorer.

(just sitting in park)

When I turn the heat to cold i hear a " clunk clunk clunk" noise from behind the radio. Turn it to warm and still hear the same noise.

Turn the fan on High and it is more of a "thump thump thump" noise.

I have to do some reading about the blend door. I do remember some cold air around the glove box, but nothing like people said about "rushing in".

ya has to be the blend door actuator. I did some searching on other posts.

Feel free to chime in!.

Talked to my dealer and he sold 2 last week, one last month, 2 the prior month. Sounds like a hot item
