Help with speaker installation

I just bought some new speakers for my 2002 xlt explorer and was wondering about the installation. Do I have to take the whole door panel off or do those rectangle covers over the speakers just pop off?

whole door panel its not hard a couple of screws and then use a wide blade flat head or trim removal tool to pry the panel away may have to remove handle bezel not sure about the newer model tho

In first gens maybe. I've seen the 2002 panels, no signs of screws. Maybe somebody will chime in here.

Whole panels... I have an 03, 2 screws in bottom of door, then you have to carefully pry off the panel around the power windows on the door handle. There is a screw under there.

Then carefully make sure the panel is loose then just lift off.
