Hitch swapability

Guys,

My dad has a hitch on his 2000 Limited that he does not use and wants to remove because it's rusting. I want to put it on my truck...would it bolt up? Frame rails will be the same but I wasn't sure if the bolt holes would like up, etc. I know nothing about hitches.

I'm 90% sure it would fit. Only one way to find out is take it off your dads (snce you're gonna remove it no matter what) and try to fit it on your truck, cutting and welding is always ant option too.

Just to follow up....the hitch fit fine, I just had to open up the holes on the bottom of the frame a bit.
