I know there is debate (or was debate) about driving without the front driveshaft eventually ruining a good viscous coupler.

However if your viscous coupler is already toasted, will driving without the front drive shaft hurt anything else??

I can't think of anything (other than the car behind if I park on a hill) but I just want to double check if there is anything else to consider. Or else, I'm doing it tonight.

I bought my 97 with the front shaft removed due to a bad VC and drove it that way for 6000 miles before I sold it.

HOWEVER, you will have to use your parking brake almost everytime you park to avoid roll, since your parking pawl will not engage.
