You might want to check on whether Mustang headers will fit in an Explorer. If they do then you will have a much better chance of finding a used set on the Mustang sites. Maybe check the part numbers for exhaust manifolds for the Explorer and Mustang to see if they are the same. If they are then they might be able to use the same headers. Trying to find an Explorer owner looking to sell a set of used headers is like trying to capture a unicorn.
