For a long time now, my truck has been making this popping sound. It only occurs when I turn the steering wheel, go over speed bumps, or switch from drive to reverse. Its coming from the front end, and its an alarming sound. I can feel it pop in the steering wheel a little, but the steering wheel doesn't move. Does anybody have any ideas?

RA bushings, ball joints, tie rod ends

Assuming your not in 4x4, check the RA and other items mentioned above.. If your in 4x4, don't be.. If you use 4x4 on a surface that won't let the tires slip, things bind and break etc..

Check you Driver's Side Engine Mount. I had the Drive/Reverse Noise, replaced the Motor Mount to fix ($27 @NAPA).
