I found that my explorer was leaking coolant from the rad the other day, i checked on this site and it seems to be a problem, is there a fix that works as of now, anybody know??

I would suggest getting a radiator from radiator.com and installing yourself. After that, go to the dealer to reflash ECM with TSB 09-8-1 update.

PCM or ECM

on the TSB # 09-8-1 is it the PCM or the ECM that they reprogram

thanks for the info, I have an appointment on this friday to recalbrate the PCM with any luck this will be the end of this crap.

Well had my PCM reflashed today to the lattest calibrations, radiator was replaced by the dealership i bought the truck from about a week ago ( aftermarket rad was used from surrey radiator ) we will see what happens now, i poped the hood while the truck was running and the fan cycles off and on more frequently than before.
