Lifting a 2wd 97 explorer

Hello,

Does anyone make a 3-4" suspension lift for a 97 2wd explorer. From what I read the 4x 95-97 explorers can not be lifted, is this true of the 2wd. Can I use a Ranger kit? It seems as though I could block the rear, and use a kit to lift the front. I would rather use a kit than just twist the torsion bars.
Any help would be appreciated.

i have a 98 2wd and want a 4" lift does anybody make one now or can i use a ranger kit?
also what is that largest tire size i can fit on the can i am planing on getting 17 inch rims i have 16 now
