Lighted Scuff plates

Our New Explorer Sport only has a lighted Scuff Plate on the Passenger Side.
This seams odd. Shouldn't both sides have the lighted plates?

Haven't noticed the passenger side, just assumed it was there, but I definitely have it on the driver side.

Driver and passenger side should be lit. Mine are.

If driver side isn't lit, see your dealer for getting it fixed. Could have been a "Friday" car and the wrong part was put in, or just a bad connection.
