My 1983 Ranger has a problem starting when it's warm.

hey ya'll......wayne here from Va
ive got a 83 V6 ranger..4 w/d straight gear
my prob is when its warm and i cut it off
it wont start again until it cools off

any suggestions where to start on the prob :rangertan:?

kinda sounds like vapor lock try this to see if it is next time you shut it down when its hot grab a orange or a lemon put a slice in it and place it over the fuel line then try and start if it starts up you have vaporlock in the fuel line at the least your engine bay will smell good!
