Will a 16 inch winter rim, 5 x 4.25 fit my 2005 Sporttrac ?? Thanks to all who reply. It's a multihole rim ( 4.25 or 4.5 ) style.

Explorers & ST's are 5 x 4.5 bolt pattern

Is the rim offset a concern, I understand there is concerns regarding clearance of the brake calipers ? Thanks for your help.

A 16" rim should clear the caliper. But yes the offset is a concern. To wide of a rim with to much back spacing will cause issues with the tire hitting the sway bar etc. What size rim and tire are you trying to use?

The offset is plus 35 load rating is 1500 lbs. I just want to make the right move here on purchasing these " no refund " used rims. ;) They are a universal steel rim 16 x 6 diameter with a 5 x 4.25 / 4.5 bolt pattern. I will be buying snow tires to suit the rims if they fit.

6" wide is pretty narrow. So even with the +35 I think the will fit. I would test fit one just to be sure.
