Need advice on '96 engine swap to '94 Explorer

I am trying to figure out the cross compatibility of the 4.0 V6 in a 1996 Explorer XLT 4x4 (running but disabled in an side collision accident)to a 1994 EXplorer XLT 4x4 (good body, bad head gasket not started in 12 months). Engine only swap preferred, is it possible to get one running drivable vehicle out of these two. I cannot find schematics for bolt patterns for the transmission and trans axle let alone the motor mounts, components and belts' configurations.
