New Flex shifter installed.

A quick question on this mod. I've noticed in other pictures that the steel rod underneath the knob is pretty long. I'm wondering how that doesn't need cut down to allow for the shorter Flex handle? I ordered mine today so I guess I will find out soon.

nothing has to be cut, just drill the small holes.

This is one mod I can't wait to do! Tired of the pogo stick shifter. Got the knob, just waiting on the weather to cooperate.
