I have been looking in to getting an Xcal2 for my '97 5.0L for some time now. I was just wondering if there are any of you out there that have used it, and what type of gains/benefits you noticed.

Thanks.

I have on my 4.0 SOHC. You won't be disappointed; go for it.

heck no leave it be!
I mess up all the time its funny to poke fun

I have heard from other 5.0L owners the Xcal can make a world of difference, especially to the trans shift points. I personally am going to wait until after I finish all my power adder mods before I tune the computer to match

I think it'll benefit you well!

Thanks for the input guys.

I have heard of a ton of 4.0 guys using it with good results, but I haven't heard of many 5.0's using it.

If only to firm up the shifts, it would be well worth it.

I have tuned several 5.0L Ex's. Just contact me if interested.
