My 96 ex calls for a Fl-1A filter in the manual and that is what I have always used. Im out of town right now and needed an oil change, so I took it to the dealer this afternoon. $26 later my oil is changed (argh what a ripoff!). I see on the invoice they used a FL-820S filter. My mom's 2002 ex uses a 820 but my 96 calls for the 1A. I asked the service guy and he said they were compatible the only real diff was like 1/10 qt capacity. Anyone know if this is true?
