Power steering line.

I have my power steering apart and could use a quick answer so I can get my truck back on the road--

Can I use transmission cooler hose for the return hose from the steering gear?

I have some good transmission cooler hose on hand, but don't have any power steering hose. What do you think?

Yes they are the same thing.
This is the low pressure side, and it just must be resistant to ATF /power steering fluid. Trans cooler line sounds like an upgrade to me.

Thanks for the quick response! I put it together with the transmission hose and it works great.

Yes.... trans fluid IS power steering fluid.... In a Ford anyways. Trans line will be just fine for the return line on the P/S.
