I've got a cooler and all the hose/fittings to put a power steering pump cooler on the X. It would make my life 100 times easier if I mounted the cooler behind the radiator, in front of the fan. I'm just worried that the heat from the radiator might increase the temps of the steering fluid, instead of cooling it down. What do you guys think? Will it help at all, or actually hurt to install the cooler behind the radiator?

What if you mounted it in front of the radiator - much like the transmission cooler?

I have a pusher fan on the front of the radiator currently without enough room between it and the radiator to fit the power steering cooler in the middle. That's why it would be a lot easier for me to mount it behind the radiator, if it will do me any good back there.
