i have a problem with a power window on the front passenger side. so far i have eliminated the swith on the passenger side. I swapped it for the rear passenger and both switches work on the rear window but neither would work on the front.

i cannot control the window from the drivers side or passenger side. my best guess is that either the drivers side switch is bad, or a wiring problem.

any help would be greatly appreciated. when i get this one fixed i will move on to the second and most difficult problem. the motor control for the heat and air is out. i have had to manually switch the door. pain.

thanks for any help.

try taken the motor out of the door and see if the motor is bad. sounds to me like the motor is locked up or the motor is burn up.

no power

well, i am not getting power to the motor. i probed the wires at the motor and hit switches for both sides, and no voltage.

so i think either the other switch is bad or there is a bad wire.

how can i check the switch for the other side?

bad wire in the boot between the door and pillar.
