remove center arm rest??

i got a 99 XLT 4 door and i need to figure out how to remove the center arm console so i can install the cd changer into it. anyone got any idea? the center arm has rear radio control too, if that helps. thanks. am thinking of doing it this afternoon, so any help will be good. is there any screws that i need before i take out the arm console? is it pop-off? thanks guys

I have a 91, so I couldn't help you bu telling you step by step on how to remove it. It may, however, be in either the Haynes or Chilton manuals, not sure though.
