Remove the torsion bolts completely?

had a sunfire with chopped up suspension before I got into this, in comparison, the X rides like a Caddy hehe..

i have a 00 sport that ive been tinkering with mine awhile, i pulled my torsion bolts all the way out, and i get a loud screeching noise when i hit hard bumps, is it the shocks? and i tried to get the four pieces of leaf off my monoleaf and do the flip, and it was not budging anywhere, so where can you find some u bolts that will fit around the axle?
