all righty just returned from the Cleghorn Day Run boy it was an interesting day to say the least! but had a ton of fun there. I left early tho we ran Cleghorn stopped for lunch then everybody started 3N17X and my stock little truck was'nt up to it so i decided to head home early plus i was getting tired i am pretty sun burnt and i have to start getting ready for my trip in the AM and to top it off my throttle started sticking
so i am gonna save 3N17X for another day hopefully by the next run I will have my Explorer ready and do the hole thing. And it was nice to see everybody that showed up and put some faces names together!

Thanks for the help Jobunn and Ritsui for getting me through that rough little section:thumbsup: and i don't think we have photos:thumbdwn: oh well i will relive and retell the tale latter:cool:

Time to go and upload photos and i'll post mine soon:salute:

Nice, I'll have to make it up there someday.

for the lif of me i can't figure how you got like that???

made it back, i'll post some pics and stuff later. my keyboard died so i have to use the on screen keyboard, which is a major pita:mad:

I was taking an alternate route around another drop/ledge that i decided to forgo was going down the trail did'nt go wide enough around the bend and the right front tire dropped off a ledge and kept dropping and dropping now i got this thing tetering on 2 wheels and i freaked out thinking something bad was gonna happen and stopped. posed for photos and then finally with Ritsui spotting I creeped around the bend and got all 4's back on the ground.:D

i was thinking that but from the pics it looks like level ground on the right front tire...and it look like there was room on the left for the wide turn...i bet you was wishing you had some droop....:D

That was a cool little trip:thumbsup: Ritsui, that last set of pics do not do that hill any justice...that was one nasty hill climb!

Here's the Hill of Hell tally...
Stic-o: only one to make it to the top, no front locker, locked rear
Me: several attempts but denied, locked front and rear
Jobunn: was oh so close also several attempts and then finally a CV let go:mad: Jobunn is locked front and rear.

We got to the top and Jobunn tried to replace his CV with a spare he had but there was a broken bolt and no spare so we just called it a day which was fine by me, I was pretty beat.

(found a working keyboard:rolleyes: )

Had a good time this trip;) Didn't take to many pictures, and Super Stic-Cam only made it a few hunred yards, before it fell off the roof, and that was that:rolleyes: Back to the drawing board I guess...

Went pretty smooth, I was suprised the Titan and the D50 made it thru some of the places they did. The fun was on the 3N17x, where the Dave, Joe and I attemted this hill climb. Good times there:thumbsup: Let just say, one truck left with a broken CV, one desided it was just not his day, and well...this other guy made it up with no front locker:D

Fun trip though, I'll post some pics later;)

sent my pic's to Stic-o he will up load. Great time need to get engine in Zuk and do this run!

did you get the ranger up and running???

not enough days in the week right now, it took a back seat to a certain Explorer and a B2. Soon!

lmao...i wonder whose???.. and he has said he has been doing all the work :D well hurry up and get your projects done so you can give me some info when i start my sas in the next year...;) are you going to be able to get the zuk up to pismo in august???

That was a fun trip. Good to meet new people and finally get out after 9 months of no 4x4. Hot has hell but there was a nice breeze and just looking down at the cool lake made me feel better.

I snapped a CV on "The Hill from Hell", but I must say I was not surprised. I was pushing it too hard and that was an original CV with 150k miles. I had a spare CV but a brake caliper bolt broke as I was undoing it...fortunately the bolt was still holding the caliper on and trail back to pavement from that point wasnt too bad and I could get out in 2 wheel.

Stic-o's and DB-1's rigs are awesome and they showed it. Especially Stic-o because he made it up that hill from hell.

Cybergasm you are either the best driver I have ever seen or you have the whole underside of your truck protected by a skidplate. I was amazed at what a light little truck can do with only 6 inches of ground clearance.

I want to see your face when you finally get that thing locked Ritsui...what a change it makes.

Here are my pics..I am just pissed that I didnt get a video of Cybergasm coming down that shute or Stic-o going up the last hill.

Vids and pics coming slowly...
