I recently had the transmission pan dropped at my local ford dealer and now my truck is "leaking" Mercon V :frustrate ! So I look around under the truck tonight and notice that the transmission dipstick tube is rusted through and the fluid appears to be splashing out from this hole. Is this something that anyone else has ever heard of? It appears that the A/C is dripping in the same area which has enouraged the rust. Where do I get a new Dipstick tube and should this be covered under my ESP? Oh and I almost forgot, its a 1998 4.0 SOHC XLT with 75k miles. Thanks in advance fellas!
