sas with leafs

I would start by thumbing through some threads that others have done about their SAS. Some members have done leafs on the front, some have not. You should find what your looking for.

You can go shackle reverse or foreward, I obviously went foreward. Its great caus its offroad only but if you wan to be able to DD it without alot of work I would put them in the rear.
Other than that, I used stock waggy 7 leaf springs, outboarded the hangers a little bit and it too me and a buddy 2 days to complete.
Steering sucks, a stock 77-79 FSB or F-150 tie rod with part of the explorer inverted y steering will work, but it leave the tierod very low and gives alot of flex steer. My next big mod is high steer
