I recently had a shop service my AC system. It didn't seem that different after service. So I purchased a manifold gauge set and hooked it up.
Low side and high side read normal.
The I thought to myself, how do I get the refridgerant in the gauge hoses back in the system.
So I googled it. AC guy showed closing the high side hose valve and opening the charge valve on the low side.
So, what happened, is the yellow hose started exhausting warm air. No refrigerant as far as I could tell. So I turned the knob on the yellow hose can tap. This stopped the outflow of air and started a slow suck.
Turning the low side gauge to close to stop it all.
Now the low side and high side gauge are in the danger zone and hot air blows in the cab.
Can I fix this, or do I need to take it to a shop?
