Hi All!

I've got a 2002 XLT with only 40K miles and my Service Engine Soon light is on. What do you guys think it could be? I have fresh fuel and topped the oil. Is it emissions-related? If so, what usually fails or needs attention?

Thank you,

Todd

Try not to double post, and welcome to the site. like aldive said in your other thread, if you can get the code read, either by your dealer(but don't let them work on it right away, just have them tell you the code) or better off, go to an auto parts store and borrow a code reader, The members on here will 99% definitely be able to tell you what to do.

Autozone Scans for free....dont let them sell you anything. Most of the time they are not right.

A lot of emissions components are covered for 8 years/80,000 miles. Check your owners guide.

Good luck.
