shock length?

M

MATTADAMS#2

I have a Skyjacker 6 inch lift on my explorer. I thought the spring packs they sent where to stiff so I did a spring over with the origional springs. I decided to mount my shocks to the sway bar bracket on the axle housing. I like this setup but feel my shocks are to short. Without a RTI ramp I cant find out. Any help would be appreciated.

Jack up one rear tire until the other starts to lift off the ground. Measure the distanse betwen the upper and lower shock mount locations for both shocks. Then find shocks that fall within these measurements.
