Asp84, I wish it was just plug and play, but it ain't. I'm not 100% sure what all is involved, but I do know you have to add some extra sensors such as the sun-load sensor.

The swap is not impossible. You'd just have to tear apart your dash and possibly install the complete dash wiring harness out of the 95+ Eddie Baur or LTD.

As fun as that sounds... I'm going to wait a week or two since I just had my whole truck torn apart and I like looking at it with four wheels AND A BODY!

But this mod is on my list. Doooooown the road a ways (December).

Ok section,
I was just making a suggestion. This whole wiring thing is out my league. But, I think it would be cool if someone put the EB/LTD HVAC and message center controls in their XLT. Hopefully you can find somebody who knows how to wire up that mess. I wish I could do a conversion like yours. (i'm not really mechanically inclined, so I can only look at your progress and wish....)
