2. Front Axle: I know where the fill plug is (still trying to budge it loose). Fill level to botom of hole? What type of fluid?

3. Transfer Case: Is the fill plug that one with the invertert square type hole? What do you use to get it out? Fill to the bottom of the fill hole? What type of fluid?

1) Fill plug is on the front of the diff on the top right side near the driveshaft and gas tank. 80w-90 gear oil

2) 80w-90 gear oil

3) there is also a drain plug behind the damper on the case. Use a 3/8 drive socket to remove. Fill with Mercron III to the bottom of the fill hole.

the drain plus takes a 3/8 rachet, no socket or wrench will work.

hmm... I put Mercon/DextronIII in my transfer case.

Does the owners manual say what type of fluid the t-case takes?
