Will a bronco II swing tire carrier fit a 91 EXPLORER? And is there anything special i need to do to make it fit?

but yet, i do believe you can mount the BII carrier right on. It should hold a 33" tire just fine. The later BIIs had bigger and better tire carriers on them.
some guys make one that attaches to the bumper out of fear of ripping the metal.
The B2 had re-enforcments behind the sheet metal to support it. The X doesn't have that. The mounting points are different because of the different tailgate. You'd have to figure these things out to mount it. Also the B2 could only support a 31" tire max. It can be done, just have to make it fit.
