Hey guys,
I have the stock 245/17 Rugged trails on my Xlt. When I bought the truck, I noticed the two front tires were pretty close to gone and the rears were pretty new. I told them in order to sell the truck they would have to put two new ones on the front. Now a couple of years later I happen to notice that I have got two tires rated at 35psi. max pressure and two rated at 44 psi. max psi. All four are rated to carry 2039 lbs. Ive been keeping 35psi. cold like the door says, but im wondering if that to much for two of them. Any thoughts?

thanks

Hmm...I'd suggest lowering those tires on the front if 35psi is the max. The rears should hold 35psi max no problem. The TPMS (if eqquiped) will go crazy (alert you) if you go too low PSI on those fronts. I'd say go 30-32 on the fronts.

I agree, I thought that was alittle too much air too. Just wanted another opinion.

thanks!
