tow pkg or not?

Can this be determined by VIN or do I have to pay to have OASIS ran? I have a 2000 X EB 5.0 and the previous owner said he "thought it did". I looked at the differintial tag and the spec. code forum , but could make no sense of it.( no 45 or 46 #s on tag. 355 0r 373ratio?

I can answer my own ?, It has two indcators door tag 373 ratio and has a tranny cooler.

3.73s and a cooler means towing package. Someone here told me it is not part of the VIN. OASIS might show it.

Yes they all have a towing package. Most do not have a factory installed receiver hitch. There is a capped plug behind the left rear tail light housing which is powered for a 4-flat wiring harness (which was usually not included). You can usually see it from below looking behind the bumper, but its much easier to access by simply pulling the tail light housing since sometimes its taped up and pushed back into tire tool storage area.

Mine has 3.55s and a cooler and a hitch.
