hello again.

Can anyone tell me if this is a dealer item only? the cable housing is broken under the column, and seems to be irreparable.

Any/all help would be greatly appreciated.

To the best of my knowledge, that is a dealer item only. Salvage yard may be the way to go if you can find a good one. Lokar has a lot of cables, but nothing vehicle specific like this. B&M is the same way...not vehicle specific. I would try Ford or the salvage yard.
