Trying to decide which Explorer buy

Hi everyone,
I'm Aleks from Spain and I'm new in the forum. I was reading on internet about the explorers and finally I thought there's no better place than this for get some info.
After a lot of years dreaming with buy an Explorer I'm finally going to do it. In Europe the best country for buy one explorer is Germany so I was searching a lot and I found this two models and I don't know what to do.
So any kind of comments would be appreciated. One of the cars is a 2005 (5.500€) and the other 2008 (7000€).

I'm assuming the 2008 is also a V6 based on the power output (sorry...I'm in the US and can't translate those ads too well without assistance). One thing a little odd to me is the power rating on the 2008 is lower than the 2005.

The mileage is lower on the 2008, and the newer V6 is a little more solid than the older ones.

Based solely on those, go for the 2008 if you can swing the extra price. They look similarly equipped otherwise. Some nice choices there!

Personally, if it were just me buying one or the other, I'd probably still go for the 2005 though. I know, I'm a little odd...given the two layouts, I just prefer not to have the transmission shifter in the console. But that's just a personal preference.
