valve lash?

Is it possible to set valve lash on the 4.0 ohv. If so please explain. I'm use to adjustable rockers or poly locks. What gives?

Valves aren't adjustable, they're hydraulically pressurized via the lifter. If you've got tapping/ticking then... join the club It's either sticky/clogged lifters (hopefully not) or worn out pushrods & rocker arms. Easy enough to pull the valve cover and take a peek with an inspection mirror.

If it's a light ticking sound you hear it could be the fuel injectors as they tick.

Thanks guys it's a ticking up around 2500 rpm. The motor just seemed to be a little down on power and I can't figure it out.
