I understand the problem there is with havening front sway bar disconnects on the 2nd gen Explorers. I came a crossed some front sway bar disconnects manufactured by Warrior Products, I was curious to see if this has been used by any other members of the forum.

Part #: WAR 85203

http://www.tellico4x4.com/product_info.php/products_id/15170

These are also listed in the Catalog:

http://www.warriorproducts.com

the pictured ones are definitely rear disconnects--

fronts have a stacked bushing and straight thru stud--

Maybe they are just using a picture to show an ordinary disconnect. But I feel this would be to good to be true. Just keeping my hopes up.

Definitely old thread but............
don't seem to find anything else on here using search & saying "front swaybar disconnects" so here goes.
1/ is it viable/ does it work?
2/ how do you do it i.e. remove whole thing or just disconnect 1 side?
3/Do you need to hook it back up for on-road?
Thanks people

oh this is for a 1999 Explorer :D :australia

i remove one link. The part number listed from warrior should work fine. I looked at the product on the warrior page, and it shows the same pic as the tellico page, but it lists several configurations and lists the 95-01 as being post-post same as turdle referenced. http://www.warriorproducts.com/catalog/other-truck-suv/suspension/sway-bar-disconnects/

Thanks, they look great just a bit hard to get here in the land of Oz :australia
What about the pro's & con's of doing this? anyone?
