What type of differential?

I am going to the junkyard tomorrow to pick up a differential. With the one Im getting Im putting 4.56 gears in it as well as an aussie locker. My question is, what would be the best axle to get for the this process? Should I get a open diff or a limited slip diff? What would be easier to install the locker and such?

An open carrier will be easier to drop in a "lunchbox" type locker into such as the Aussie. What axle are you talking about getting? 8.8, dana 35, 9"??? Different axles have different carrier splits so if you are going to put 4.56 gears in one you should look for one with the correct carrier in it already.
