I live in columbia sc, i was wondering where is a safe place to go to get my torsion bars turned and shackles. Thanks for any advice,

your house! seriously just grab a haynes or chiltons manual and do it yourself. its not that hard i replaced my leaf springs and i didnt even have one. you can definatley do it yourself.
 






Ditto on that one. The torsion bars are really simple. Just measure the space in the wheelwell before you jack it up, jack it up, and crank them evenly on both sides (count the turns). Then put it on the ground and measure again.

The shackles are easy also, just 4 bolts. For both ends, you'll need a breaker bar, or an easier way is to have a length of pipe to fit over you ratchet to get some extra torque on the bolts. My suggestion is to do the shackles first then even the front end to match.
