Wired Remote

I have a JVC sh-99 headunit and I was wondering if anyone knew if I can get a wired remote for it.

I am wondering because I want to buy one, take it apart, and hook it up to the back unit in my X. Has anyone does this>

BTW: I dont want a cheasy Infrared converter to make the back unit work.

I've never heard of a wired remote for the JVC's... Haven't seen one for sale, either. Sorry

Are you talking about a wireless remote because JVC does not have a wired remote. I use the infared repeaters at work and the work fine.
